How do you produce the best Chicken?
You mimic nature. And our birds do.

While our chickens aren't the Grouse-Like Tympanuchus Prairie-Chickens featured on wildlife shows, we call our birds Prairie Chickens because of how they are raised. Our birds graze on the fertile prairie soil of Illinois just like the Tympanuchus Prairie-Chickens of old.
A Prairie Chicken isn't like regular chicken you buy from the store. Unlike conventional chicken, these birds are active throughout their whole life pecking at seeds, eating leaves, and chasing down insects. Their scratching and manure stimulate and feed microbial life in the ground, helping to build our soil!

A Prairie Chicken is moved every day to a new salad bar of grasses, legumes, and insects while also being fed a specially blended feed made from locally grown corn and soybeans. This keeps our Prairie Chickens happy and healthy their whole life.
Raising chickens this way not only leads to happy birds and healthy soil, it leads to premium chicken for you and your family to enjoy! A Prairie Chicken's meat has a higher vitamin, fatty acid, and mineral content than a conventional chicken. Our tender and delicious chicken is perfectly suited for your favorite meal!
