Calling all gardeners, farmers, FFAers, 4-Hers and generally curious Greene Fields Farm followers:
Lets get the community together around a fun, friendly competition to see who can grow the biggest pumpkin!
THE CHALLENGE
Lets see who has what it takes, or at least face the struggle together, to grow a colossal cucurbit (aka a HUGE pumpkin-in "patch" lingo)

Should you accept this challenge by registering, seeds and instructions will be mailed to your doorstep in March.
GROWING TIPS
Follow us via Facebook live videos throughout the growing season as we share what we are facing in our patch.
HOST THE WEIGH-OFF
The weigh in is tentatively scheduled for Sunday afternoon October 21. We will provide a prize (maybe even a trophy!) for the largest pumpkin and celebrate the occasion with a pumpkin pie cook-off and generally awesome afternoon at our patch.
Take this as seriously or as lightly as you would like but, above all, lets gather together as a community around a FREE, fun, family project.
